Chase Utley appeal hearing set for Oct. 19, after NLDS

Major League Baseball suspended Utley for two games following his slide in Game 2 of the series that fractured the right leg of Mets shortstop Ruben Tejada. Utley immediately appealed the suspension, making him eligible to play until the appeal is heard.
