first_imgPanasonic on Thursday announced two new Eluga series smartphones for the Indian market. They are the Eluga X1 and Eluga X1 Pro. Both the Eluga X1 and Eluga X1 Pro will be available in India starting October 10 on Flipkart for Rs 22,990 and Rs 26,990 respectively. The Pro version of the Eluga X1 comes with wireless charging and 3D face unlock support, now that’s something to boast about and Panasonic is doing exactly the same.The Eluga X1 and the Eluga X1 Pro are the first ever phones from Panasonic to come with iPhone X-style notched display and aspect ratio of 19:9. Both the Panasonic Eluga X1 and X1 Pro come with almost the same specifications. The only difference that the two Panasonic phones have are in the storage and RAM department. The Panasonic Eluga X1 comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage while the Pro version sports a 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.Both the Eluga X1 and the Eluga X1 Pro come with a massive 6.18-inch full HD+ display with a resolution of 2246 x 1080 pixels. The screen of both the Panasonic phones is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla glass on top. The smartphones are powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 processor clocked at 2.0GHz and paired with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU.The new Panasonic Eluga smartphones come with a dual camera setup on the rear panel and single on the front. On the back panel, the consists of a primary sensor of 16-megapixel and a secondary sensor of 5-megapixel. The camera app comes packed with several features like mode, Backlight, Slow-mo and Portrait, among others. On the front, both the Eluga X1 and the Eluga X1 Pro include 16-megapixel selfie snappers.advertisementBesides the wireless charging support, another highlight of the new Panasonic Eluga X1 Pro is the 3D facial recognition support which the company claims can unlock the phone in a blink of an eye.
