The Kings have won five straight at home.NBA-NETS-IRVING SURGERY Kyrie Irving has shoulder surgeryNEW YORK (AP) — Kyrie Irving has undergone surgery to repair the injured right shoulder that ended his first season with the Brooklyn Nets after just 20 games.The Nets say the procedure to relieve the impingement was performed Tuesday at the Hospital for Special Surgery. The team says Irving is expected to make a full recovery.Irving began having trouble with the shoulder as he worked to get back in shape after another injury in the preseason. The pain worsened in November and he missed 26 games before returning in January.Irving signed with Brooklyn in July along with Kevin Durant. Durant is expected to miss the entire season while recovering from surgery to repair his Achilles tendon. Lighting will take place as scheduledATHENS, Greece (AP) — Next week’s flame-lighting ceremony for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics will go ahead in Greece despite concerns about the virus outbreak.The Greek Olympic committee says it is working closely with national health authorities and will hold meetings to re-evaluate the situation every two days. The committee also says the Greek leg of the torch relay will go ahead.Greece has recorded seven cases of the virus. All of them are linked with people who traveled from Italy.The Olympic flame is ceremonially lit months in advance of the games at the birthplace of the ancient Olympics in southern Greece. The Blues have outscored opponents 26-12 during the seven straight wins.The Pittsburgh Penguins hope to snap their longest losing streak since 2012 — a six-game skid — when they host the Ottawa Senators tonight. Sidney Crosby has just one goal, and no assists, during those six games.The Boston Bruins carry the NHL’s best record to Tampa Bay to meet the Lightning, who sit just four points back. The Lightning snapped a season-high four-game losing streak over the weekend. TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Yankees outfielders Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton are likely to miss New York’s opener at Baltimore on March 26 because of their injuries.Yankees general manager Brian Cashman says Judge is having more tests to determine the cause of soreness in the right pectoral area near his shoulder. Stanton strained his right calf on Feb. 26 during defensive drills.New York already was without center fielder Aaron Hicks, who is recovering from Tommy John surgery.
